Andreas Marinello Resident Artist Masterclasses in: Saxophone, Jazz Improvisation, arrangement ​Andreas Marinello studied jazz and classical saxophone and jazz composition at music universities in Graz (Kunstuniversität Graz), Vienna (MDW Wien) and Cologne (Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln). He holds a Bachelor and Master of Arts from the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. He has performed at some of the biggest festivals in Europe and the Mediterranean with world-renown artists such as Randy Brecker, Branford Marsalis, Peter Erskine, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Bob Mintzer, Dave Liebman, Lalo Schifrin, Michael Abene, Jojo Mayer, Toshiko Akiyoshi and many others. His compositions for small and large ensembles, from saxophone quartet to symphony orchestra, have been performed, recorded and broadcasted all over Europe. He has been the artistic director and chief conductor of the Croatian Radiotelevision Jazz Orchestra, with which he released 6 albums and won numerous Porin awards (the “Croatian Grammy”). Andreas has been teaching private students for over ten years, many of whom went on to study music and now have successful careers of their own. He held workshops and masterclasses in Italy, Spain, Croatia, Austria and Jordan.
